Housing market will slow in 2017 but prices will continue to rise

A new report by the CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation) predicts that the national housing market will slow in 2017, but that home prices will continue to rise. There will obviously be regional differences and our local market here in the Calgary and Southern Alberta region will likely be heavily influenced by the oil & gas market, the job less rate and the supply & demand of housing.
